Coeur d’Alene Bakery was founded in 1993 and we are proud to call the Pacific Northwest our home. Words like fresh, handcrafted, and artisan describe what we do every day and we are dedicated to using traditional processes to provide the highest quality products to our customers. We are local and family owned with a heart for being the best at what we do!

Kelly Burghard

Kelly Burghard is Coeur d’Alene Bakery’s Office Manager and Food Safety Director. Kelly began her career with Coeur d’Alene Bakery in 2005 as a part-time receptionist, and was promoted to Office Manager in 2006. Kelly heads the company’s Food Safety Program and became HACCP certified in 2014.

Kelly has enjoyed working at Coeur d’Alene Bakery because she’s had the privilege of being involved in every facet of the business – learning everything from the science of baking, to food safety rules and regulations, to the structure and every-day tasks of running a growing business. When it comes to Kelly, everyone will agree that she really works her buns off! Kelly takes pleasure in assisting customers and employees alike and appreciates Coeur d’Alene Bakery’s team atmosphere.

Kelly Uhlenkott, Coeur d'Alene Bakery Office Manager

Sean Tran

Sean Tran joined Coeur d’Alene Bakery in 2015 as the Production Manager. Sean immigrated to the USA from Vietnam with his single mother and a younger brother in 1996. As the man of the house in a different world than what he was used to, Sean started working at a young age. One of his first jobs was working in a bakery as a shipper. Over the course of more than ten years Sean had the opportunity to learn shipping, receiving, purchasing, packaging and many other aspects of how an industrial bakery runs. Sean became HACCP certified in 2016.

Sean has a quirky personality and likes to make people laugh. He enjoys working at CDA Bakery because it’s a close-knit family operation and there’s always a sense of belonging from the owner to every team member.

A piece of history

This is a photo of our famous and delicious century-old sourdough starter. We tend to it with lots of TLC and keep it in a secure location so we can continue use it to make our flavorful and authentic breads and rolls.
